Obituary GELBART, Miriam (nee Abramovitz) Peacefully, in her ninety-second year, on Thursday, August 26, 2010. Wife of the late Joseph Gelbart. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Amiram (Merle Kastner) and the late Bathsheba, and Gideon. Cherished grandmother of Elan and Vikki Gelbart; Shulamit and Bernie Zeesman, Oren and Grace Gelbart; Sherri Gelbart, Daniel Gelbart. Loving great-grandmother of Ronit and Alyza Gelbart, Isaac and Michaela Zeesman; Shaina and Kaleb Gelbart. Dear sister of Sonia Zahler, Shoshana Schweitzer, the late Bala Zylberberg, the late Motesh, the late Zalman and the late Itzchak Abramovitz, the late Bluma Ben-David. Sister-in-law of Pnina Abramovitz. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to the staff of 5 North, Maimonides Geriatric Centre, for their care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, August 29 at 11 a.m. Burial at the Field of Remembrance Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 5762 Wentworth Ave., C.S.L.
