SEIDMAN, Frances (nee Schachter). Peacefully, in her ninety-third year on Wednesday, January 30, 2008. Veteran Lieutenant Nursing Sister of the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps WWII. Beloved wife of the late Abraham N. Seidman. Devoted mother of Phyllis and the late Robert McGibbon, Leonard and Elyse. Cherished grandmother of Donald and Emma, Karine and Fabrizio, Julia. Great-grandmother of James. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Helen and the late Harry Finkelstein, the late Sidney and the late June Schachter and sister-in-law of Sophie and the late Lloyd Davis, Eileen and Ralph Pritzker, Beryl and the late Max Grossman, the late Anne and the late Bob Salomon, the late Ethel and the late Henry Romanow, the late Jean and the late Hyman Lipson, the late Toba and the late Louis Greenberg. She will be sadly missed by Yolande Bergeron, mother of Karine and Julia. Frances will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews and famiy. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W. on Sunday, February 3 at 2 p.m. Burial at the Veteran's Field of Remembrance Section (C-19), Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, 5015 de la Savane. Family and friends may pay their respects prior to the funeral, after 1 p.m. |
