Obituary SCHWARTZ-JAEGER, Ida (nee Blizzen) Peacefully, in her ninetieth year on Friday, October 7, 2011. Devoted wife of the late Max Schwartz and the late Uri Jaeger. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Paula Schwartz and Michael Lehrman, Barrie Schwartz and Melanie Nudleman, Karen Schwartz and John Smith. Adored and cherished Bubbie of Tanya Lehrman and Marco deStefani, Jesse Lehrman and Brooke Cromar. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Zelda and the late Sam Segal, the late Miriam and the late Will Grossman, and sister-in-law of Betty and the late Ben Schwartz, the late Tillie and the late Henry Frank. Also loved by Gita and Benny Beattie and their family. Ida will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and extended family. Special thanks to her caregivers, Olivia and Marcie, and to the staff of the Castel Royale and Maimonides Geriatric Centre for their care and compassion. Ida was treasured by all who had the privilege to know her. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, October 10 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Veterans' Field of Remembrance Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 5135 Prince of Wales. Due to the festival of Succot, shiva ends Wednesday afternoon, October 12.
