BENJAMIN, Jules H.
On Monday, May 22, 2017, at the age of ninety-six. Beloved husband and best friend of Liliane Grunvald for sixty-three years. Devoted, loving father and father-in-law of Gary and Linda, Ronald and Rita, Steve and Sheri, Mitchell and Ricky. Cherished "Bompa" to Ryan, Megan and Michael; and Cody. Proud "Great-Bompa" to Ali. Dear brother of Charles Benjamin; and brother-in-law of Marcel and Harriet Grunvald, and the late Raymond Grunwald. Jules will be fondly remembered by his nieces, Huguette, Carine and Sabrina, nephews, Jeff and Lloyd, and by his family and friends. The family would like to express their gratitude to Rosie, Tommy and Thessa, and Younes for their love, devotion and exceptional care for Papa Jules. Special thanks to the wonderful doctors and staff at the Royal Victoria and Jewish General Hospitals. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, May 24 at 10:00 a.m. Burial at the Memorial Park Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his home, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. through Thursday evening.
