Peacefully on Saturday, May 26, 2001. Beloved husband of Sarah Serota for fifty-nine years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Norman and Linda, Stephen and Linde, of Newmarket, Ontario. Cherished grandfather of Lauren and Amy. Dear brother of Ida, of Florida, Nathan, Ernie, of Los Angeles, pre-deceased by his sisters Jennie, Becky, Rachel, Sarah and Leah, dear brother-in-law of Isidore Serota, sadly mourned by his nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. Stanley Heisler, Dr. Daniel Obrand and all the nurses and staff of fourth floor, Pavillion D, Jewish General Hospital, for their care and compassion. Funeral services from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West, on Sunday, May 27 at 11:30 a.m. Burial at the Memorial Park cemetery, de la Savane. Due to the festival of Shavuot, there is no Shiva.
